How to Create a Master Hiring Pipeline

May 28, 2025

A Master Hiring Pipeline helps standardize the recruitment process by defining a consistent set of hiring stages. This ensures uniformity across all job postings and simplifies performance tracking, stage analysis, and recruiter coordination.

Steps to Create a Master Hiring Pipeline:

  1. Log in to Hiring Bull as an admin or recruiter with pipeline management permissions.
  2. Navigate to: Settings → Hiring Pipeline
  3. Click on the "Add New" button to create a new pipeline.
  4. Enter a name for your pipeline that clearly reflects its purpose (e.g., "Technical Hiring Pipeline", "Sales Hiring Flow").
  5. Define the interview stages in sequential order.
    Typical stages could include:
    • Application Received
    • Resume Screening
    • HR Interview
    • Technical Round 1
    • Technical Round 2
    • Final Interview
    • Offer Extended
    • Offer Accepted
    • Hired
  6. Customize stage names as needed to suit your organization's process.
  7. Set stage permissions or auto-triggers (if applicable), such as notifications or interviewer assignments.
  8. Click Save to finalize the pipeline.

Usage Tip:
This pipeline can now be reused across multiple job postings by selecting it while creating or editing a job requisition. It ensures a structured and consistent hiring experience for both recruiters and candidates.
