How to Add Vendors and Define Permissions

This feature allows you to onboard external partners such as recruitment consultants or background verification agencies into the Hiring Bull platform. You can control which modules or job openings they have access to, ensuring data privacy and focused collaboration.

Use Case Examples:

  • Giving a recruitment agency access only to selected job openings.
  • Allowing a background verification vendor to view only candidate documents.

Steps to Add a Vendor and Set Permissions:

  1. Log in to Hiring Bull as an admin or user with vendor management rights.
  2. Navigate to: Settings-> Vendors
  3. Click on the “Add Vendor” button.
  4. Select the Vendor Type:
    • Recruitment: For agencies submitting candidates for open roles.
    • Verification: For third parties conducting background or document checks.
  5. Enter Company Details:
    • Vendor/Company Name
    • Email ID
    • Phone Number
    • Address (optional but recommended)
  6. Add Contact Person Information:
    • Name
    • Designation
    • Email and Mobile Number
  7. Define Permissions:
    • Choose specific job roles the vendor can access.
    • Assign access to relevant modules or functionalities (e.g., upload resumes, view candidate status, update verification results).
    • You can also set limitations such as number of submissions per job.
  8. Click “Create” to finalize the vendor setup.

Post-Creation Tips:

  • You can edit or deactivate vendors anytime from the Vendors list.
  • Each vendor will receive an email with access credentials and instructions.
