Managing job and module permissions allows you to control who in your organization can view, edit, or take actions on a specific job posting or related modules (like candidates, interviews, evaluations). This ensures data confidentiality and prevents unauthorized access.
Use Cases:
- Granting hiring managers access to view applicants for their team only.
- Limiting editing rights to selected recruiters.
- Allowing interviewers to view candidate profiles but not edit job details.
Steps to Manage Permissions for a Job:
- Log in to Hiring Bull with admin or recruiter access.
- Navigate to the “Jobs” section and open the job for which you want to manage permissions.
- Click on the “Permissions” tab available within the job details page.
-
Assign Access by User:
- Use the “Add User” or “Assign User” button.
- Choose from the list of internal users (e.g., recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers).
-
Define Access Level for Each User:
- View Only: Can view job and candidate details.
- Edit Job: Can modify job description, stages, and settings.
- Manage Candidates: Can move candidates through hiring stages.
- Interview Access: Can view candidate profiles and give feedback.
-
Apply Module-Specific Permissions (optional):
- Restrict access to modules like Offer Management, Interview Scheduling, or Candidate Feedback.
- Click “Save” to confirm changes.
Tip:
You can edit or revoke permissions anytime by revisiting the Permissions tab for that job. Always review assigned roles periodically to maintain system integrity.
