How to Make a Job Internal

May 28, 2025

Creating an Internal Job ensures it is visible only to users logged into the Hiring Bull system (e.g., internal employees, HR teams). This is ideal for referrals, internal transfers, or pilot openings.

Steps to Make a Job Internal:

  1. During Job Creation or Editing
    • When creating or editing a job, navigate to the final step: Job Settings.
  2. Find the “Visibility” Option
    • Look for the setting labeled “Visibility” or “Job Access Type.”
  3. Choose “Internal Only”
    • Select Internal from the dropdown list.
  4. Save the Job
    • Complete the setup by clicking “Finish” or “Save”.

Visibility Behavior:

  • Internal jobs will not appear on:
    • Public career pages
    • External job boards
  • They will be accessible to:
    • Logged-in employees
    • Internal referral channels
    • Designated recruiters and teams
