Managing Department-Based Job Access

Limit job visibility or editing rights based on department to maintain data confidentiality and streamline user roles.


Steps to Manage Department Access:

  1. Go to Settings → Departments
    • Create or manage departments here.
  2. Assign Users to Departments
    • Go to Settings → Users.
    • For each user, assign a default department or multiple departments.
  3. Set Access Permissions
    • In Settings → Permissions or Job Access, configure:
      • View Access – View jobs in assigned department only
      • Edit Access – Edit or close jobs for the assigned department

Access Enforcement:

  • Recruiters will see and act only on jobs under their assigned department(s).
  • Reduces cross-functional clutter and unauthorized access.
