Video Questions allow you to assess a candidate’s communication skills, thought process, and confidence before or during the interview process.
Steps to Set Up a Video Question

Go to Tools > Assessment
- Navigate to Tools, then click on Assessment.

Open Manage Questions
- Choose an existing assessment or create a new one.
- Click on the Manage Questions tab.

Click on ‘Add Question’
- You’ll be prompted to select the question type and input details.

Choose Question Type: ‘Video Question’
- From the type dropdown, select Video Question.

Enter the Question Content

Type your question in the text field.
- Example: “Tell us about a challenging project you led.”

Type your question in the text field.

Set Time Limit for Response
- Specify how many seconds/minutes the candidate has to record their video response.

Save the Question
- Click Save, and the question will now be part of your assessment.

Assign Assessment to Candidate
- When the test is shared, candidates will see a video recording prompt for that question.
📹 Best Practice: Keep video questions between 1–3 minutes and clearly state what you expect the candidate to answer.
