Move candidate to another job profile

Purpose:

Reassign qualified candidates to other relevant job openings without requiring them to reapply.


Steps to Move Candidates Between Jobs:

  1. Navigate to the Original Job
    • Go to Jobs → Select the original job.
    • Click the Candidates tab to view the application list.
  2. Select Candidate(s)
    • Check the box beside the candidate(s) you want to move.
  3. Click “Move to Another Job”
    • Available as a bulk action or in the dropdown menu of the candidate card.
  4. Choose Target Job and Pipeline Stage
    • Select the destination job from the list.
    • Choose the appropriate stage (e.g., Initial Screening, Interview).
  5. Add Notes (Optional)
    • Enter a note to record the reason for moving or any relevant context for recruiters.
  6. Click Confirm
    • The candidate is moved along with:
      • Resume and documents
      • Previous evaluations and notes
      • Activity history and source details

What Stays Intact:

  • Communication logs
  • Assessment data (if platform supports shared assessments)
  • Internal comments

Use Cases:

  • A strong candidate for a Java Developer role might be a better fit for a Full Stack opening.
  • Candidate applied to a closed job but a similar one opens later.
